Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct defines the standards of behavior expected from all visitors, users, volunteers, coordinators, advisors, and leaders associated with Indian Volunteer Trust.

1. Respect & Peaceful Behavior

• All interactions must be respectful, calm, and dignified.
• Harassment, hate speech, abusive language, threats, or intimidation are strictly prohibited.
• Shouting, aggressive behavior, or disruptive conduct is not acceptable in any form.

2. Lawful Conduct

• All users and volunteers must respect the Constitution of India and applicable laws.
• No individual is authorized to take the law into their own hands.
• The Trust does not support violence, vigilantism, or unlawful activities.

3. Non-Political Neutrality

• Indian Volunteer Trust is a non-political organization.
• Platforms must not be used for political campaigning or propaganda.
• Personal political views must remain separate from organizational activities.

4. Equality & Inclusion

• No discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, language, or background.
• Every individual deserves dignity, fairness, and equal respect.

5. Responsible Representation

• No one may claim to represent the Trust without authorization.
• Misuse of the Trust’s name, logo, or identity is prohibited.
• Public communication requires prior approval.

6. Ethical Participation

• Participation is voluntary and service-oriented.
• Positions are based on responsibility, not influence.
• Corruption, fraud, or personal gain is prohibited.

7. Digital & Platform Conduct

• Platforms must be used responsibly.
• No misinformation, rumors, or confidential data sharing.
• Internal discussions must remain internal.

8. Safety & Community Well-Being

• Safety of people, communities, and animals is a priority.
• Concerns should be reported through lawful channels.

9. Conflict Resolution

• Disagreements handled through calm dialogue.
• No public arguments or social media trials.
• The organization may intervene when necessary.

10. Enforcement & Disciplinary Action

• Warning
• Suspension of access or role
• Removal from platform or organization
