ABOUT EMPLOYMENT & SKILL CELL

Employment & Skill Cell is a structured initiative under Indian Volunteers Trust aimed at bridging the gap between education, skills, and employment opportunities. Its purpose is to guide youth, job seekers, and working professionals toward practical skill development and lawful employment pathways.

In many communities, unemployment is not only due to lack of jobs, but also due to mismatch between available skills and market demand. The Employment & Skill Cell works to identify skill gaps, promote training opportunities, connect candidates with employers, and create awareness about government employment schemes and vocational programs.

CORE OBJECTIVES

  • To reduce unemployment through structured skill guidance.
  • To connect job seekers with verified employment opportunities.
  • To promote practical and industry-relevant skill development.
  • To create awareness about government skill and employment schemes.
  • To support youth in career planning and goal setting.
  • To encourage entrepreneurship where appropriate.
  • To promote dignity of work and professional discipline.
  • To strengthen the economic stability of families through employment.

WHAT EMPLOYMENT & SKILL CELL IS NOT

  • It is not a recruitment agency guaranteeing jobs.
  • It does not charge unauthorized placement fees.
  • It does not promote illegal employment practices.
  • It does not provide fake certifications or training.
  • It does not interfere in private employer hiring decisions.

LONG-TERM VISION

The long-term vision of the Employment & Skill Cell is to create self-reliant individuals equipped with practical skills and professional discipline. A skilled population reduces unemployment, strengthens local economies, and enhances community stability.

By aligning skills with opportunities and promoting responsible career growth, the Employment & Skill Cell supports the broader mission of building economically empowered and self-sufficient constituencies.
